Some photos on the new camera
I haven't found a setting for indoor photos that i'm crazy about yet.

i had some fun with the rapid fire mode.
i really like the panorama mode. it stitches the photos in-camera and somehow adds the distortion necessary to make the perspective work. it's not perfect though. you can tell where the seams are.

And I am more and more convinced that everyone's Holiday break included some form of Rock Band.
That's probably the best in-camera panorama I've seen. Nice! Sounds like it's a good one. Your family was talking about your last couple cameras (may they rest in peace). Waterproof, drop-proof, weather-proof... this is the dream camera.
