Just Life

Ok, i realize i haven't said a word about the wedding, honeymoon, or any of the other events surrounding that enormous occasion. It's just too much of an undertaking at the moment, and as long as i tell myself that's the next thing i need to write about, i write nothing. SO i'm going to fast-forward a bit to the post-honeymoon life.

Life is good. Really good. After the honeymoon it's hard to say i came back to real life. It's a different and new life completely. i did settle back in to work and the apartment and the everyday mundane things of normal life, but there's a new flavor to it all. not like the same familiar meal with some new spices; like a new better dish, but with most of the old familiar seasoning. Does that make sense? Really not much is different. most the details are the same, but the base, the core, upon which all those details rest has changed.

Ok, enough talking. Here's some photos of recent goings on.

I recently added to Fort Tryon Park in Washington Heights to my Favorite Places in Manhattan. Here are some photos.

George Washington Bridge

One day we randomly decided to visit the park and discovered it was the Medieval Festival. It was entertaining/amusing/ridiculous. New York has a lot of... shall we say, "eccentric" people. this was a concentration of that segment of the population.

What are those guys who train birds to hunt for them like in olden times called? weirdos?

So yeah, i guess what i'm trying to say is that life is really good, both in the big picture and in the day-to-day.

Heh, heh. I think they are called 'falconers', no explanation needed.
You look really happy, I think you wear your new life well. Thanks for a little blog. Be sure to look at Laural's for more pics of the baby. She's pretty sweet!
